Hyatt Place Waikiki Beach Hotel Honolulu, Honolulu

The hotel offers spacious rooms with a lovely balcony and a view of Diamond Head Crater, along with helpful and friendly staff. However, there seems to be some lack of awareness about certain programs and the location itself faces issues with aggressive birds in the open areas.

I had a mixed experience at this Hyatt. The rooms were run down with a musty smell, and even after switching rooms twice, the issues persisted. Disappointing for a chain like Hyatt. The lack of hot water at night was a significant letdown, especially when I have come to expect better quality based on my past stays at various Hyatt locations across the states.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and spacious, actually exceeding our expectations. The breakfast was great with 3 washing machines and 2 dryers, very useful.
